This family-run Holiday Farm is set in a hilly area surrounded by the green countryside of the Upper Valley of the Tiber River, on the natural border between Umbria and Tuscany regions. Farm holiday is ideal for spending a pleasant vacation enjoying mental and physical wellbeing and healthy homemade meals. Three farmhouses from the early 1900s on the property provide sleeping accommodation in 7 apartments and 3 bedrooms equipped with all comforts and furnished with vintage furniture. The rooms maintain their original Umbrian rural style: old timber frames, stone walls, terracotta floors, fireplaces and antique stone sinks. Set amid lush pine forests, olive groves, vineyards and woods, the three farmhouses overlook the surrounding valley, offering unique views of the green Umbrian countryside. The farm produces extravirgin olive oil, wine, traditional ‘Vin Santo’ dessert wine, honey and organically grown vegetables that can be purchased on the farm.
The gentle hills and winding valleys that surround the property are filled with charming medieval villages and castles. The most beautiful towns in Umbria and Tuscany are within easy reach, allowing for rich history and art day-trips. Perugia, Assisi, Gubbio, Cortona, Arezzo are just a few km away. To delight your palate, the Traditional Inn offers regional recipes prepared with typical Umbrian products and farm produce (organic veggies, honey, olive oil, wine and Vin Santo) that can also be purchased onsite. Young guests can spend the day having fun both outdoor and indoor: playground, traditional bowling green (bocce), ping-pong, games room and TV set, petting farm educational workshops and many animals to cuddle. Guests traveling with pets will find a warm welcome and lots of green areas where their four-legged friends can run and play.
